Ages 6-11

Primary Spanish for Kids

For fun for elementary age kids during those years when language is so easily absorbed. May take multiple years.

2025-2026:

(Tuesdays/Johnson OR Wednesdays/Springdale)

Two 14-week semesters

$400 tuition per year, payable by quarter

Class Description:

Young ones learn language in a comprehensible input style with play, song, art, movement, and storybooks. Parents may notice their kids using Spanish at home and sharing with family. 

No official homework!

Ages 12-17

Intro to Spanish for Jr. High and Up

For the junior high or high school student getting started with Spanish and as a testing-the-waters scenario for potential further study.  For older students, may count as Spanish 1 credit with acceptable completion of work. For younger students who excel, may be a good prerequisite for Spanish 1.

2025-2026:

Wednesdays/Ozark Learning Studio (Springdale)

30 week course

$600 tuition per year, payable by semester

Class Description:

Learn basic structures with lots of vocab games for practice. Students will be offered the chance to appreciate the varied history and culture that inform the modern Spanish speaker. 

Minimal guided homework is required.

Ages 15-18

Honors Spanish I (1st year) & Spanish II (2nd year)

For the mature student who has developed scholarly habits, potentially having studied Latin and being eager to apply skills to Spanish. 

2025-2026

Spanish I: Wednesdays at Ozark Learning Studio (Springdale) 30 week course

$700 tuition per year, payable by semester

Class Description:

High school students follow a course that emphasizes spoken language, with ample attention given to grammar and vocabulary.

Class time will be spent in conversation with guided models and note-taking for grammar.

Homework will review the models from class with reading, writing, listening, and speaking, Emphasis will be given to standard forms with mention of local immigrant living language forms. 

Commitment to personal study and work completion at home is critical to success in this course.

A mature learner may be studying Spanish with an app and has specific grammar questions or wants to practice conversation. Please inquire about my current availability and rates for personal tutoring, including for adults.
